Each year, the NAA Convention brings together more than 2,000 afterschool professionals and leaders to get inspired, connect and learn. Educational sessions are the heart of NAA Convention and offer more than 11.5 hours of professional development.

The National AfterSchool Association has embarked on a partnership with the NBA and WNBA along with their recently launched program Her Time To Play, a national grassroots initiative developed to inspire girls ages 7 – 14 to play basketball in a positive and healthy way.

What's the secret to getting children excited about afterschool activities? Some afterschool professionals seem to have a magic touch: They know just what to do to engage and challenge youth. And the proof of their wizardry is that children keep coming back for more!
